Torretta Peak

So named because in correspondence with the dive, looking up towards the promontory, we can see an old tower that stands out on the rock facing the sea.
The first part of the dive, heading south, is characterized by a wall rich in red coral and gorgonians. Lobster antennae protrude from crevices in the rock. At -40 meters there are numerous boulders covered with majestic gorgonians. At the base of the rocks you can meet moray eels, conger eels and dogfish.
The encounter with barracudas is always an emotion. The brown groupers swim undisturbed while the snappers in the blue, always looking for some prey, attract our attention for the speed of their movements.

RED PATH (up to -40 meters)
After our pre-dive check we will descend along the mooring buoy. Once we reach the base of the dead body at -25m, we will reach the beginning of the wall in a SOUTH EAST direction, keeping it on our right. In this wall the coral and the gorgonians can already be seen at a depth of -18 meters. After a careful exploration of the various ravines and cracks we will leave it to visit at about -40 meters of the rocks towards the open sea under which we will be able to find conger eels, moray eels or dogfish. We will return to the wall which will end leaving
placed at a landslide with large boulders full of life. At about -20 meters on our right we will see a bay with an imposing boulder covered internally with Leptopsammia pruvoti (yellow madrepora) of a bright yellow. With the promontory on our left we will reach the top of the wall at about -10 meters, which stretches out towards the open sea where we can admire large brown groupers and snappers in hunting.
We will continue with the promontory on our left until we meet in front of a protruding boulder at -8 meters which indicates the direction to reach the mooring buoy in an easterly direction. Before returning to the boat we will make our safety stop in a small bay a little further on with a giant boulder in the center. If the visibility is not optimal, reaching the chain may not be easy given its reasonable distance from the wall, so we will exit next to it in complete safety.

GREEN PATH (up to -18 mt)
After the pre-dive check, if the visibility is good we can go down the chain. At -18 meters we will reach the top of the wall from which we can already see the first gorgonians leaning towards the open sea and looking down .. Continuing to fin with the wall on the right at -10 meters the gigantic boulder covered with leptopsammia pruvoti of a bright yellow . With the promontory on our left we will reach the top of the wall at about -10 meters, which stretches out towards the open sea where we can admire large brown groupers and snappers in hunting.
